Background

DV EXCELLUS is a tech company formed by the merger between agri-tech project spin-off from Development Voyage Pvt. Ltd. (www.developmentvoyage.com) and EXCELLUS Solutions. It was established in 2016.

Carrying over the legacy of Development Voyage working in agriculture and food sectors since more than a decade, and expertise of EXCELLUS technological interventions in agronomy, DV EXCELLUS envisions to design, develop and implement innovative solutions in the sectors of food-and-agriculture technology.

Mission

  • Make our consumers (of urban centers) healthy and happy by providing variety of local-healthy food at reasonable price at their doorstep.
  • Make small farmers productive and profitable by providing user-friendly and robust farm management tool and customized advisory services as well as linking them to wide range of sustainable inputs at reasonable price at their fingertips. 
  • Build healthy, progressive and win-win collaborations with different actors in sustainable agri-food-tech ecosystem.   
  • Make a strong, motivated and skilled team to achieve our goals with proper trainings/education, incentives and personal growth.

Debesh is a MBA graduate from University of Greenwich, London with a decade long experience in corporate and start-up sectors in Nepal and Netherlands. Being a responsible & sustainable business enthusiast he is dedicated to ag-food-tech to solve problems in agriculture sector.

Subash is a data analyst, programmer, having years of experience with one of the reputed data company of Nepal. He has worked on various IOT related projects using embedded systems and now fully dedicated to ag-food-tech innovations.

Suraj brings years of valuable experiences working with smallholder farmers in Nepal. Having expertise in administrative activities such as agribusiness budgeting and financial management, saving and credit facilitations, group formations and mobilizations, he is the back-bone of our institutional relations with our farmers network.

Pushpa Raj is a web developer and technology enthusiast interested in Ayurveda and Agriculture Technology. He is pursuing Bachelor of Information Technology in Computing from London Metropolitan University.
